1. Accepting these terms

By downloading or using Munchii you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines form part of this agreement.

2. Who can use Munchii

You must be at least 13 years old, and at least 16 in countries where that's the minimum age for consenting to data processing. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. You must not be barred from using the app under the laws that apply to you.

3. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Give us accurate information, don't impersonate anyone, don't share your account, and don't create accounts to get around a suspension. Tell us promptly at support@munchii.app if you think someone else has access.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the recipes, photos, text and recordings you add to Munchii. By posting content publicly, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, to resize an image or create a thumbnail), publish and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting Munchii. This licence ends when you delete the content, except that copies may remain in backups for up to 30 days and content others have re-shared within Munchii may persist in their libraries.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you post — including photos you took and recipes you wrote or adapted — and that posting it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Munchii to post or do anything that:

Our Community Guidelines explain the content rules in more detail.

6. Other people's recipes

Recipes on Munchii are created by users, not by us. We don't verify them. Ingredient lists, timings, allergen information and nutritional claims may be wrong or incomplete. Use your own judgement, especially where allergies, pregnancy, medical conditions or raw ingredients are involved.

7. AI features

Scanning a photo and recording your voice use automated processing to produce a draft recipe. These features are assistive: output can be inaccurate or incomplete, which is why we always show you the result for review before it's saved. You're responsible for the accuracy of anything you publish, and for having the right to scan or record the source material in the first place. See the Privacy Policy for how the underlying data is handled.

8. Our intellectual property

The Munchii name, logo, app, design and software are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms don't give you any right to use our branding except to refer to the app fairly and accurately.

9. Price and availability

Munchii is currently free to download and use. We may introduce paid features in future; if we do, we'll make the terms clear before you're charged and won't start charging for something you already have without telling you first. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Suspension and ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app, which removes your content as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or the Community Guidelines, or where we're required to by law. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

11. Disclaimers

Munchii is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use of Munchii. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 50. We don't exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be excluded.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes will be heard by the competent courts of the Netherlands — except that if you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Munchii.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Munchii after that means you accept the new version.
